THANK YOU letter from the center

The long line of kind hearted people and organizations which have been encouraging the women and children, the victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, by donating, and giving countenance to them, continues. currently, workers of Meg’s Adventure Tours are contributing to our shelter’s activity, making donations to the children, as well as having friendly heart-to-heart discussions with the women living in the shelter.

Moreover, they have promoted our Center’s activity through donating 500$ towards the training of qualified specialists in local branches. The National Center Against Violence has eleven local branches. Being involved in this training is a step towards the implementation of the nationally updated and approved, Law of Mongolia against Domestic Violence, as well as towards improving the human resources which work with victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to E. Tselmeg, the Director of “ Meg’s Adventure Tours ” LLC, and her brother E. Tsengel on behalf of the clients and workers of the National Center Against Violence.

May our cooperation for a safe future be continue and become stronger in the future.

Supporting another victim

A single mother (28 years old) living in Ulaanbaatar escaped her life with an abusive husband while she was pregnant with her fourth child. At the time of writing, her youngest child was 20 days old. While she strives to build a new, peaceful home, her struggle continues as she must provide for her family. Meg’s Adventure Tours company donated winter clothes (coats, pants, shirts, socks, etc) for her so that she can focus on keeping her home warm and her family fed.
