Day tour will start from Meg’s Guesthouse at 8am. However, the driver and guide can pick you up from the airport, train station, or your accommodation to suit your requirements.
Our first stop will be the Chinggis Khaan statue. It is a jaw dropping scene among beautiful hills and plains.
We will then move on to Terelj national park. This has long been a holiday resort for people from the capital and short – stay travellers. It is one of the most visited areas in Mongolia due to its magnificent scenery and its proximity to Ulaanbaatar. We will be visiting Turtle Rock and the surrounding wilderness is a picturesque place of high cliffs of granite, rivers and forests. In winter frozen rivers provide skating and snow- covered valleys are ideal for cross- country skiing.
Activities including horse riding for a hour, eat lunch in a local family ger and hike to Ariyabal Meditation Temple.
We will start driving back to Ulaanbaatar at 16:30. Finish the day tour at Meg’s Guesthouse.

I really appreciate Meg helping me out during my trip. I had a 22-hour delay getting to Mongolia. She was really understanding and still picked me up the next day. I had to change my plans completely due to the delay, so Meg helped me arrange a last-minute tour of Terelj National Park so that I could experience life with the nomads and stay in a ger. Back in UB, she took me on a mini tour of the city and we visited the state orphanage where we distributed the goods I had brought.

Meg is a really passionate person when it comes to helping children. She really wants to secure a successful future for her daughter, Temuulen, and help the orphanage kids. I’m grateful for having had the opportunity to help out these children alongside Meg.

In addition, I am thankful for Meg’s patience. I was only supposed to stay with her for a few days, but we were together for almost a week straight. My flight was delayed 27 hours getting back to Seoul. Without Meg, I would have been stranded!

Meg hosted me for two nights and I went on two tours near Ulaanbaatar with her. She is a hard working single mom full of energy and with a great sense of humor. She gave me the chance to get a view on life in Mongolia and introduced me to some of her friends. Without her my time in Mongolia wouldn’t have been the same. Thank you Meg!

Meg was a wonderful host. She arranged for us to be picked up at the airport by her driver, Oggie, who is a really friendly guy. He took us directly to a ger in a national park, where we rode horses and ate traditional food. We then went back to her cozy apartment in UB and went site seeing and spent time with her and her bubbly daughter. Overall, our experience was fantastic, she even cooked a delicious dinner for us. Thanks Meg!

Our flight into Ulaanbaatar was two hours late, and we arrived at midnight. Meg sent her driver and we were able to meet at a ger in the nearby national park. She provided expert guidance and was a gracious host to me and my fellow couchsurfer. I can’t recommend Meg highly enough; she made our trip to Mongolia a special one!

I and my friend traveled from Japan for 3 nights and we needed to enjoy as much as possible for a short time. She arranged the special tour to terelji national park for us and it was truly enjoyable. We stayed at the gel, did a horse and camel riding, ate the local dishes, went to Tibetian buddhist temple etc. She is experienced and very knowlegeable.

    Great day trip!
We took a one day trip to Chinggis Khaan Status and Telej National Park. Meg and Bunny were super helpful and accommodating with the booking, the driver was very professional and made sure we have the best time. The trip was as planned and went very smoothly. They also helped us with another personal matter only because they care. We are sorry we did not know about this place before. Had we known, we would have booked our entire 18 days trips with them!

The best trip I’ve ever been on!
I visited this guesthouse and went on a 6 day tour with Gamba as a driver and Bunny as our tour guide. It was simply amazing. Gamba was an excellent driver and Bunny was absolutely outstanding.Bunny went out of her way to please us in every way, she has perfect English, she’s bursting with local knowledge, taught us Mongolian words and gave us a deep insight to Mongolian culture. NOTHING was ever a problem, she was an excellent cook and so so FRIENDLY! Would highly recommend this trip, I can’t count the amount of times I laughed until my belly hurt I would especially recommend Bunny as a tour guide!

    Best Trip Ever With Locals
Enjoyed the trip in Mongolia with my best brothers, Bunny and Ogi, who are the local guide and driver during 28 April and 4 May. They are very passionate, professional and helpful! All of us enjoy the trip so much with the true Mongolia experience with Nomadic families, tremendous natural views, awesome animals, delicious traditional Mongolian food in restaurant or prepared by Bunny, as well as the camel and horse riding. Never expect to have such a wonderful local experience! Strongly recommend for every tourist to join their tours.

Best Trip with Best Guide and Driver
At the Meg’s guesthouse, the room was very comfortable with breakfast served.

Bunny (Bujin) was our tour guide and Ogi was our driver. Bunny was very very very friendly and we made good friendship with her. She introduced the culture of Mongolia and brought us to local restaurants to enjoy the food there. She was a happy guide and always chat with us and make sure we were satisfied with the tour. We love her so much! Ogi was also a friendly driver that brought us from places to places. It was a perfect trip with them.

We joined the 5 days spring and winter culture tour and one day trip to the terej national park and chinggis khan statue. We visited local ger which they provided nice and warm living place. It was an unforgettable experience to watch the stars and galaxy above the sky and ride horse and camels.

We strongly recommend tourists to choose Meg’s.

Best guides in Mongolia – Trip of a lifetime Safe and very knowledgeable
My husband and I stayed at the guesthouse but went out with Meg and her driver to stay the night with ‘grandma’ a true nomadic superwoman.
What an absolutely amazing experience. OMG drinking vodka with them all, sing song at night and looking at photos of grandma’s 12 grown up children and all the medal and awards she has won for her horse racing was one of the best nights of my life. .Grandma runs about 500 head of cattle and about 40 goats. She moves them and her yurt 4 times a year. She was one of the first Mongolian women to start driving a car, and she still has two cars and a motor bike. But her real love is riding horses which she continues to do. She has a satellite dish, a solar panel and uses a mobile phone.
Thank you Meg for taking us to the National Parks, the Genghis Ghan statue, and for taking us to Grandma. If you are thinking of holiday/adventure in Mongolia I cant speak more highly of Meg – leave everything up to her to organise because she is brilliant. She is Mongolian and speaks perfect English as well as Russian. She commutes to Australia regularly to catch up with her daughter and husband. You will eat the best food, always be safe and see much of this amazing country. Even if you dont stay at the guest house Meg can organise your trip – maybe a 4 day treck of the Gobi desert is for you. Thank you to Bunny and driver too. You made our trip AMAZING hope to come back for more. ANd Meg please send us the brand of the vodka we drank that night becuase we are going broke buying bottles of the stuff to find anything as good and so far nothing comes close!!
