  1. :

Meg hosted me for two nights and I went on two tours near Ulaanbaatar with her. She is a hard working single mom full of energy and with a great sense of humor. She gave me the chance to get a view on life in Mongolia and introduced me to some of her friends. Without her my time in Mongolia wouldn’t have been the same. Thank you Meg!

Best guides in Mongolia – Trip of a lifetime Safe and very knowledgeable
My husband and I stayed at the guesthouse but went out with Meg and her driver to stay the night with ‘grandma’ a true nomadic superwoman.
What an absolutely amazing experience. OMG drinking vodka with them all, sing song at night and looking at photos of grandma’s 12 grown up children and all the medal and awards she has won for her horse racing was one of the best nights of my life. .Grandma runs about 500 head of cattle and about 40 goats. She moves them and her yurt 4 times a year. She was one of the first Mongolian women to start driving a car, and she still has two cars and a motor bike. But her real love is riding horses which she continues to do. She has a satellite dish, a solar panel and uses a mobile phone.
Thank you Meg for taking us to the National Parks, the Genghis Ghan statue, and for taking us to Grandma. If you are thinking of holiday/adventure in Mongolia I cant speak more highly of Meg – leave everything up to her to organise because she is brilliant. She is Mongolian and speaks perfect English as well as Russian. She commutes to Australia regularly to catch up with her daughter and husband. You will eat the best food, always be safe and see much of this amazing country. Even if you dont stay at the guest house Meg can organise your trip – maybe a 4 day treck of the Gobi desert is for you. Thank you to Bunny and driver too. You made our trip AMAZING hope to come back for more. ANd Meg please send us the brand of the vodka we drank that night becuase we are going broke buying bottles of the stuff to find anything as good and so far nothing comes close!!

PS my travel agent says i am her first client in 25 years who has ever requested flight to mongolia – seriously think of going BUT not in winter
